"This course will prepare both students and those currently active in the field to face the practical challenges of filmmaking in Hollywood."

Bryan Singer, Director - The Usual Suspects, X-Men

Nina’s course is one of the most thorough and fundamental foundations to the craft. Directors need to know ways to spot talent, how to nurture it, and how to coax performances out of actors. They must be able to spot a thousand details. They must understand the subtext of a screenplay that will help them decide what they want to film, and why. They need to know everything about their film, from the first draft of the script to the final screening. And ultimately, they must communicate with actors in ways that bring out the best performance.
